He ultimately leaks the incriminating video that exposes The Seven. The Fi had the record. It finally designated acting on it as non-negotiable.

A-Train is ESFP. The type is defined by a hierarchy of cognitive functions - not a checklist of traits but an ordered stack of mental processes that determines how someone perceives the world and how they make decisions. For A-Train, that stack leads with Se (Extraverted Sensing) and is supported by Fi (Introverted Feeling). A-Train is entirely present. Se (Extraverted Sensing) is the dominant function - A-Train engages with the immediate world with more openness and less defensiveness than almost any other type. Each season he is a slightly different version of the man who was running so fast he did not stop. By Season 4 he leaks the incriminating video. The Fi had the record of what Robin's death required. He is the face of The Seven's public engagement - the sprinter, the brand, the specific presence that a certain demographic of Vought's audience responds to most completely. He inhabits the role with the Se dominant's most natural capacity: full presence in the current configuration, reading and responding to what it contains. The problem is that the current configuration is always the one that matters, which means the configurations that are coming - the accountability, the declining speed, the specific costs accumulating behind him - do not receive adequate attention until they have become the current configuration.
He runs at the speed of the present moment. The Compound V use, the career decisions, the relationships inside The Seven - all driven by what the current configuration requires for the current performance. The Se dominant does not naturally model what maintaining the current performance will require over time. It reads what is present and delivers what the reading requires. The accounting for what has been delivered accumulates in the inferior function's record at a pace the dominant function does not naturally track.
Robin's death follows him. Not as a strategic liability - as a specific person he ran through whose hands Hughie was left holding. The Fi does not forget specific people. It holds the record of what specific people cost, and what they cost, and what the specific response to the specific cost eventually requires. He leaks the video. The Fi had the record. The Se finally had an available instrument. Both ran together toward the one available action the type could take.
He has never had a plan that survived contact with the next present-tense priority. The Compound V dependency, the decisions inside The Seven, the specific accommodations made for the specific career pressures of each season - all are the Perceiving disposition responding to what each moment requires rather than executing a pre-built strategy across them. The redemption is not a plan. It is the Fi's verdict, held for years, finally delivered through the most available present-tense instrument when the instrument finally became available.
Why A-Train Is ESFP, Not ENFP or ESTP
A-Train is sometimes typed ESTP - the speed, the competitiveness, the reading of every situation for advantage. The distinction is whether the Ti or the Fi is the auxiliary. A-Train's most defining qualities - the guilt, the eventual conscience, the specific and personal quality of the Robin accounting - are Fi-driven. He is not analysing situations for the most efficient available response. He is carrying a specific record of a specific person the Se ran through and the Fi eventually designated as requiring a specific response. That personal and specific quality is Fi, not Ti.
