He tracked what she meant to him across every shared arc with the same precision he tracked tactical variables - and when the synthesis concluded that the relationship's configuration needed to change, he revised it, because the synthesis is always primary. That Amanda felt the cost more acutely than he acknowledged is not evidence that he didn't feel it. It is evidence that the feeling didn't change the conclusion.
The world domination is the INTJ's most complete terminal statement. He identified the specific failure modes of human institutional governance - the patterns producing preventable deaths at scale - and built an alternative before anyone had designated the alternative as permissible. The synthesis has already determined the solution and the method. The conversation with the team is not a deliberation - it is logistics. The real decision was made somewhere no one else can access.
This sustained concealment is not manipulation in the simple sense. It is the Introvert's most essential quality made operational: the interior is primary, the exterior is the delivery mechanism. His camera-fed existence in the tank accelerated this tendency to its extreme - he spent years watching the world through a screen, processing everything inward, with no body to orient him toward external engagement. By the time he had a body, the habit of interiority was structural. He thinks first, alone, completely. What other people receive is the conclusion.
Compare him to Rex Splode, whose plans are visible in real time - whose frustration, competitiveness, and decision-making are all externalised immediately, for everyone nearby to see. Rex does not have an interior plan. Rex is the plan, expressed outward, as it forms. Robot has the opposite orientation. Monster Girl spent years close to him and still could not fully account for what was happening inside the synthesis. That gap - between what he showed and what he was building - is the Introvert's defining feature, and in Robot it never closes.
Robot thinks in systems and trajectories, not immediate situations. When he assesses the Teen Team, he is not evaluating the current roster's current performance - he is modelling what the team's structural weaknesses will produce across every future scenario the threat environment is likely to generate. He identifies that Rex is volatile, that Atom Eve is underutilised, that the team's leadership gap will produce specific failures at specific pressure points. He does not address these problems as they arise. He addresses them in advance, through structural changes no one has asked for, because the Ni framework had already projected what asking would eventually require.
His plan for Earth's governance is the same orientation at civilisational scale. He does not respond to a specific crisis with a specific intervention. He looks at humanity's institutional failure modes - war, corruption, the specific patterns of preventable deaths that governance structures consistently produce - and builds an alternative framework before the specific crisis that will make the alternative feel necessary has occurred. The intervention arrives before the situation it is responding to has become legible to anyone else. That gap between his timeline and everyone else's is the iNtuitive function in its most complete form.
The new body illustrates this clearly. He did not pursue Rex Splode's DNA because a specific medical opportunity arose. The Ni synthesis had already identified the specific solution to his specific constraint. The mission to the other dimension was constructed to create the conditions under which the solution could be implemented - a manufactured opportunity, not a found one. He did not wait for the world to offer him the answer. He engineered the circumstances that would produce it. That is what the iNtuitive function does when it is operating at full capacity: it builds the future rather than waiting for it.
Robot paralyses the world's population. He makes this decision knowing exactly what it costs the specific people in the path - Monster Girl above all, whose feelings about the plan he has tracked with more care than he has tracked almost anything else. The inferior Fe is not absent. It is present and noting the cost. The cost does not change the conclusion. The synthesis determined that the paralysis was necessary to prevent the specific institutional failures that were producing the specific deaths. The Te built the framework for implementing it. The fact that Amanda would experience it as a betrayal was a registered variable. It did not alter the decision.
His management of the Teen Team reflects the same orientation. When he assesses that Rex Splode is a liability - genuinely useful in certain configurations, genuinely destructive in others - he does not manage the situation through emotional appeals or personal confrontation. He restructures the team to minimise the damage Rex's volatility produces. No conversation about Rex's feelings about the restructure. No appeal to their shared history. The assessment is made against the standard of what the team's mission requires. The restructure follows. The interpersonal dimension is managed, not primary.
The telling moment is his handling of the world domination's aftermath. He did not expect gratitude and does not appear to feel wronged by its absence. The synthesis had determined that the intervention was correct. Whether the people it affected agreed with that assessment was not the relevant variable. A Feeling-dominant character - even one with strategic sophistication - would need the judgment to be understood, would experience the condemnation as something that required response. Robot experienced it as an outcome he had already modelled. The Te implementation was complete. The synthesis had been right. The rest was noise.
Robot operates from decisions already made. When he joins the Teen Team, he has already determined what its structural problems are and what the solutions require. When he builds the Rex clone, the sequence for doing so has been complete in his mind for years before the first step is taken. His conversations are not deliberations - they are announcements of conclusions the internal process reached before the conversation began. The mission briefings, the tactical directions, the moments where he explains what the team is going to do next: in each case, the decision exists prior to the room. The room receives it.
This is most visible in his relationship with Monster Girl across their shared arc. Amanda adapts, revises, responds to what the current moment is producing. She is present-tense in a way Robot is not. He has already modelled what the arc requires and is managing toward that outcome, which means that her present-tense experience of their relationship is sometimes out of phase with his framework for what the relationship is doing. The gap between her experience and his plan is not cruelty - it is the Judging function's most complete expression: the framework is real, the framework is primary, and the present moment is a step in the sequence the framework already contains.
Even his use of the tank body reflects this. He maintained the most inadequate possible physical instrument for the entire period the new body required to be prepared - not because better options were unavailable, but because the sequence had designated the tank as the appropriate instrument for that specific phase of the plan. He did not improvise a faster solution. He executed each step in the order the framework specified. The inferior Se's deprivation - years in a body that couldn't touch anything - was a cost the Judging function absorbed because the sequence required absorbing it. The plan was complete before the first step. He followed it to the end.
Why Robot Is INTJ, Not INFJ or ENTJ
Robot is sometimes typed INTP - the analytical precision, the pleasure he seems to take in elegant solutions. But INTP builds Ti frameworks because the problem is genuinely interesting. Robot does not find the problem interesting. He finds the solution necessary. The Teen Team mission, the new body, the world governance takeover - none of these are intellectual exercises. Each is a Te implementation of a Ni conclusion that was already reached. He is not exploring. He is executing.
The ENTJ argument comes from the institutional management - he runs the Teen Team, then the Guardians, then effectively the world. But ENTJ builds outward and inhabits leadership as a natural mode. Robot inhabits leadership as a management structure for the synthesis. The institutions serve the plan. He is not energised by the organisation - he is using it. The moment the institution has served its purpose, he revises the structure without sentiment. No ENTJ relation to institutions looks like that.
The clincher is the original body. He kept using the tank - the most inadequate possible physical instrument - for the entire period it took to build the Rex clone, because the synthesis had determined the clone was the right solution and the tank was the right instrument for the transition. He was not looking for a faster body or a more capable body. He was executing the sequence the Ni had already produced. Each step had its place. The inferior Se's deprivation was a variable in the sequence, not a problem requiring improvisation. The sequence was primary.
