People need to be alright, the social fabric needs to be maintained, and the ESFJ is oriented toward ensuring this is the case. The engagement holds.

Look at their relationship with structure and routine

ENFPs, as P types, resist premature structure and find rigid routine somewhat constraining. The possibility space must stay open. ESFJs, as J types, function best with organized structure and clear routine. They find the familiar and the established genuinely comforting rather than constraining. The same open-ended situation registers as opportunity to the ENFP and mild discomfort to the ESFJ.

Consider their values orientation
