Why Homer Simpson Is ESFP, Not ENFP or ESTP
Homer is sometimes typed ESFJ - the family warmth, the apparent care for Marge and the kids, the social orientation. But ESFJ's Fe is dominant: it reads the group and responds to the group's emotional reality. Homer does not read the group. He encounters the group in the present moment and the Fi endorses whatever the group's present-tense configuration requires from him, usually after some delay.
